91-year-old Man Injured in Bloom Township Crash

BLOOM TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 91-year-old man was injured in a March 20 one-vehicle accident in Bloom Township, Clearfield County.

DuBois-based State Police say the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Greenville Pike just east of Macklin Road.

According to police, Harry J. Fye, 91, of Curwensville, was traveling south on Greenville Pike when his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado exited the roadway for undisclosed reasons.

Fye’s truck then traveled across Evergreen Road before entering a field and crashing into a ditch.

Police say Fye was wearing a safety belt and suffered minor injuries.

He was cited for a lane violation.
