Betty L. Fuller

Betty L. Fuller, 97, formerly of Evans St. in Brookville, PA, passed peacefully away on Monday, December 18, 2017, at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA.

Born October 20, 1920, in Emerickville, PA she was the daughter of Ralph Swartz and Violet Cable Swartz.

Betty was married to Clinton Breese and later to Lewis Swartz who both preceded her in death.

Betty was a homemaker and worked for Sylvania in Brookville, and later for Bell Aire Craft Plant in Buffalo, NY, for the Miami School District, and then for the Victoria Hospital in Miami, Fla.

She was a member of the Emerickville United Methodist Church, received the 10-year volunteer award for her work with the RSVP program at the Pennsylvania Memorial Home in Brookville.

Betty is survived by one son – Barry Fuller of Brookville, PA, 2 Sisters – Eileen Mohney of Reynoldsville, PA and Twila Gifford of Emerickville, PA, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, both husbands, 1 Sister – Miriam Ishman, and 2 Brothers – Gene and Harold Swartz.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home 153 Jefferson St. Brookville, PA 15825 with a funeral service in her memory to follow at 3 PM at the funeral home with Pastor David Chin officiating.

Internment will take place in the Emerickville Church of God Cemetery, Pinecreek Twp., Jefferson Co., Pa.

Memorial contributions in Betty’s memory may be placed to the Emerickville United Methodist Church – 13345 Rt.322 Brookville, PA 15825.
