MCCALMONT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a vehicle crashed into a house on Spruce Street in McCalmont Township on Friday night.
According to police, around 6:59 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 26-year-old Brandon J. Burkett, of Big Run, was traveling eastbound on Spruce Street in a 2003 MINI up a small uphill grade hill when it veered off the roadway and struck a residence located at 624 Spruce Street in McCalmont Township.
Burkett was flown to UPMC Altoona for a suspected medical emergency and possible injuries.
He was using a seat belt.
The vehicle sustained minor damages and was towed from the scene.
Minor damage was done to the residence.
Jefferson County EMS assisted at the scene.
