Billie Jo Croyle King

Billie Jo Croyle King, 37, of Shippenville, passed away on June 21, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness due to a heart defect.

Born on January 5, 1981, she was the beloved daughter of David K. and Penny M. (Pitts) Croyle who survive. She attended Clarion Area High School.

Billie Jo worked as a truck service advisor at Travel Centers of America in Brookville. She enjoyed taking time to spend with her family and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her daughters and family. She liked hiking and camping at Cook Forest. She also liked going to the casino in Seneca and playing scratch-offs. She was a member of VFW 2145 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved going to games and races for her kids, nieces, and nephews. She was always smiling and offering a hug, really and truly enjoying life!

In addition to her parents, Billie Jo is survived by two beautiful daughters, Morgan Marie King and Mya Joss Painter, and Madison Guntrum Painter who she cherished like her own; her sisters, Deana Schmader (Fred Ditz), of Clarion, Jamie Silves (Fred), of Knox, and Jodie Croyle, of Shippenville; three nieces, Tessa, Brooke, and Waelynn; three nephews, Tyler, David, and Mason; and her fiancé Corey McLaughlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VFW Post 2145 Ladies Auxiliary, 603 Liberty Street, Clarion PA 16214.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion, where visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Jake Jacobson, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.
