BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson County is holding its annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser from 4-6 p.m., Saturday, March 25 at the Brookville Lanes.
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides children with staff-supported, long-term, one-to-one mentoring friendships. Bowl for Kids Sake is the program’s largest annual fundraiser.
One hundred percent of the money raised remains in Jefferson County to support mentoring services for local children.
Gather five or six of your friends, family members, or co-workers and call 1-877-776-1636 to register your team. It’s a fun time for a good cause. No bowling skill is required.
Each team member collects a minimum of $50.00 in donations to enjoy two bowling games, shoe rental, food, and entertainment.
For those who choose not to bowl, they can sponsor a waiting child and their family to bowl at the event or donate their time to volunteer or entertain at the event.
Local businesses can support Bowl For Kids’ Sake by becoming a lane sponsor or by donating prizes for a gift basket giveaway or food to be enjoyed at the event.
