Brookville Police Calls: Theft, Bad Checks

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police recently responded to the following calls:

Theft

The Brookville Police Department charged a known 36-year-old Strattanville woman with theft and receiving stolen property following investigation of an incident on Monday, May 14.

It is alleged that the suspect stole $65.00 from the victim.

Charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak’s office.

Bad Check

According to police, a known 37-year-old Stump Creek woman has been charged with bad checks following an investigation.

It is alleged that the woman issued a bad check to the Jefferson County Court system on March 28.

The woman is currently in the Jefferson County Jail on unrelated charges.

Charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak’s office.
