Brookville Woman Rushed to Hospital Following Falls Creek Crash

FALLS CREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A Brookville woman was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois by ambulance following a crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Falls Creek Borough.

According to police, around 2:17 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, a known 73-year-old Brookville woman was operating a 2015 Buick Encore, traveling west on Main Street just east of 2nd Street in Falls Creek Borough.

Police say the woman’s vehicle crossed the center line and veered off the roadway, striking a utility pole.

The woman, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois by DuBois EMS Ambulance Service for suspected minor injuries.

Her name was not released.

Falls Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Penelec assisted at the scene.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Zimmerman’s Towing.
