Carole Jean Lewis, 74, of Marion Center, passed away on March 19, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born on September 9, 1942 to Erlon and Iris (Colson) Leathers in Vasselboro, ME. Carole worked as a caregiver, taking care of the elderly in their homes.
She was a member of the Groundhog Campers and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Carole is survived by her husband -Ramey E. Lewis; two daughters – Becky Smith of Marion Center and Debbie (Roger) Pallone of Dover, PA; two grandsons – Roger (Ashlei) Pallone and Brian Pallone; granddaughter – Sami Smith; great-granddaughter – Autumn Pallone; two sisters – Jeanine Conley and Nadine Chadbourne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother – Warner Leathers; and sister – Sylvia Pearl.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Shannon, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Georgeville Cemetery.
