Cashmere Henry Krulia

Cashmere Henry Krulia, 92, of DuBois, PA, died on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at the DuBois Nursing Home.

Born on September 24, 1925 in Coverdale, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Henrietta Yopek Krulia.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II.

On May 16, 1953, he married Josephine Baranoski Krulia. She survives. They have been married for 65 years.

Henry retired from Rockwell International Manufacturing after many years of service and previous to that for many years he was a professional carpenter. He was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Polish Citizen Club. He was an avid gardener, loved working in his yard and enjoyed woodworking.

Henry is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Frankola and her husband John D. and Janet Krulia both of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandchildren, Kathryn, Stephen, and Kevin, and two great-grandchildren, Walter and Henry.

He was preceded in death by seven siblings, Julie Pirog, Mildred Marmura, Mary Shubra and Stanley, John, Anthony, and Walter Krulia.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the church. Burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
