STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Members of the Dancer’s Studio Competition Team and Company performed for the public at the 4th Annual Spring Gala on Saturday, March 24, at Clarion-Limestone Auditorium.
The 23 elite dancers from the Competition Team performed solos, duos, trios, and group numbers from their competition season.
The Company, which includes 34 dancers from the studio, performed numerous group numbers and a musical theatre production number.
“I love that the show was such a success,” studio owner A-Jo Gallagher said. “And, that’s a big thanks to my amazing Competition and Company students. Their hard work and dedication all year long is unparalleled.”
Gallagher also said she was honored to be able to give away over $4,200.00 in scholarships to her amazing dancers.
“Being able to give back to them is so rewarding to me. I’m so proud of these kids. They truly are the inspiration.”
Kaylee Baumcratz, Ainsley Wolfe, Charlotte Schultz, Taylor Sherbine, Ava Love, Rylee Lindenpitz, Reigyn Brosius, Nevaeh Smith, and Aoife Salusky received ½ off scholarships for the Jason Marquette Summer Intensive in New York City. Janiya Jones and Abigail Keth received scholarships to attend Dance Masters of Pennsylvania. Jordan McElravy and Reese Cornecki received scholarships for guiDANCE experience. A Rory Freeman Scholarship for an upcoming intensive to be held at the studio was given to Angela Olson. Gracie Dunkle received a Dancer’s Studio Fall Tuition Scholarship, Abbey Barron was awarded a Dance Makers Regional Scholarship, and Caitlyn Wolfe received a Jump Convention Class Scholarship.
Dancer’s Studio teachers, Catherine Elser and Sierra Crossetti, also performed at the Gala.
In addition to choreography by A-Jo Gallagher and DS teachers Catherine Elser and Shannon Peterson, performances at the Gala featured dances choreographed by renowned choreographers Rory Freeman, Channing Cooke, Kate Harpootlian, Jason Marquette, and Cat Cogliandro.
Dancer’s Studio Competition Team includes the following dancers: Abbey Barron, Kaylee Baumcratz, Summer Bish, Reigyn Brosius, Reese Cornecki, Gracie Dunkle, Janiya Jones, Abigail Keth, Rylee Lindenpitz, Ava Love, Jordon McElravy, Kylie Mumford, Angela Olson, Jadyn Reisinger, Madilyn Ruhlman, Aoife Salusky, Charlotte Schultz, Taylor Sherbine, Addison Siegel, Nevaeh Smith, Katrina Spencer, Ainsley Wolfe, and Caitlyn Wolfe.
The Company is comprised of the 23 Competition Team members and the following dancers: Emerson Eustice, Brooklyn Hepler, Lacey Lauer, Danielle Laverdure, Bella McClain, Erin McCleary, Willow Ramseur, Markie Raybuck, Caitlin Reinsel, Emma Shaffer, and Madilyn Simpson.
Dancer’s Studio will hold their spring recital “Dance: The Universal Language” at Clarion-Limestone Auditorium on Friday, May 11, at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 12, at 6:00 p.m.
