Dollie B. Ponthieux was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 11, 2018.
She was the beloved daughter of the Late Glenn and Audrey McHone Brosius.
Dollie was also preceded in death by her brother, the late Calvin “Ray” Brosius.
She leaves her husband Edison J. Ponthieux Jr., children: Tiffany Harbiston (Robert), Timothy, Eddie, and Terry Ray (Jodie) Ponthieux, and stepchildren: Thomas Ponthieux and Stacy Alello to cherish her memories.
Dollie will also be missed dearly by her siblings: John and Doug Brosius, Janet Hudecek, JoAnn Booth, and Mary Murray, her grandchildren: Tyler, Taylor, R.J., Addison, Cheyenne, Ashley, seven step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild. Other close relatives are Kim Brosius, and in-laws: Margaret, Darlene, Wayne, and John.
As a retired teacher from the Jefferson Parish Public School system, she has countless friends and colleagues who will surely miss her. All services will be private. Professional services provided by Murray Henderson Funeral Home.
