Evelyn A. Wilson

Evelyn A. Wilson, 89, of DuBois, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Christ The King Manor.

She was born on January 14, 1929, in Punxsutawney, PA, a daughter of the late George and Ann (Morris) Hudak.

On April 28, 1952, Evelyn married Donald E. Wilson, he preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2011.

Evelyn was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, David E. Wilson and his wife Deborah of DuBois and William E. Wilson and his wife Linda of Broadview Heights, OH.

Evelyn is survived by five grandchildren, Daniel Wilson, Jennifer Mahnen and her husband Chris, William Wilson and his wife Amy, Samuel Wilson, and Katarina Sweeney and her husband Kyle. Three great-grandchildren, Elliott Mahnen and Emerson and Evelyn Wilson also survive.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by five brothers, George, Nicholas, James, William, and Joseph Hudak, and a sister, Helen Baird.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., in DuBois, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 25, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.

Memorials may be placed with Christ The King Manor, 1100 West Long Ave DuBois, PA 15801.
