Festival of Trees Continues Today at Sawmill Center for the Arts in Cook Forest

COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – The Festival of Trees continues on Saturday, December 2, at the Sawmill Center for the Arts in Cook Forest.

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The long-running and highly-anticipated Festival of Trees, which was held for many years at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda, has found a new home at the Sawmill Center for the Arts in Cook Forest.

The public is invited to stop in and enjoy the sounds of the season, while shopping the 24 craft vendors, selling homemade crafts and Christmas gifts.

The Sawmill Center will be filled with live Christmas trees, beautifully decorated by local businesses and organizations. The trees will be for sale and may be taken, as is, at the end of the event. Prices will range from $100.00 to $300.00.

A Chinese auction will offer guests the chance to win prizes.

Food will also be available throughout the event. For lunch each day Clarion Vocational Services will serve pulled pork sandwiches, chicken salad wraps, pasta salad, baked beans, and homemade cookies.

A $1.00 admission fee will be collected at the door.

Saturday, December 2

10:30 a.m. – Brookville Community Band

2:00 p.m. – St. Mary’s & St. Anne’s Church Choirs

3:00 p.m. – Special K Quartet
