Irene R. Zinzella, Age 91 of DuBois, PA, formerly of Erie, PA died Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on January 28, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sam & Anna (Radjik) Skraba.
In November of 1947, she married Joseph Zinzella. he preceded her in death in November of 2015.
Irene retired from Bliley Electric of Erie after 40 years of service.
Irene was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, crafts, and reading.
She is also survived by 2 brothers (Steve Skraba, and Henry Skraba & his wife Darlene), 3 sisters (Frances Shaw, Josephine Smith, and Carolyn Robertson & her husband Tim), all of DuBois, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by a brother (Alex Skraba), 2 half-brothers (Raymond and John Skraba) and 2 sisters (Mildred Rutkowski & Mary Ann Sickeri).
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with Penn Highlands Hospice, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801 and/or the charity of the donor’s choice.
