James D. Cramer

James CramerJames D. Cramer, 87 of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville, Pennsylvania.

Born Thursday, February 20, 1930, he was the son of the late Ellesworth Cramer and the late Elizabeth (Shepler) Cramer. He was the husband of Dorthy L. (Charles) Cramer.

He was a graduate of Big Run High School class of 1947 and was employed by Busy Bee Builders in Sykesville as a carpenter for almost 40 years. He especially enjoyed helping friends and family build many things.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 until 1956. he enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and bowling. he was an avid football and NASCAR fan, especially the Steelers and the Pirates.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Louann Dill (John) of Reynoldsville, PA, granddaughter Jessica Gresock (Danny) of Reynoldsville, PA, and numerous cousins.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday April 24, 2017 at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. located at 206 E. Main Street Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania 15851 with the Rev. Barry Fillman officiating.

Military honors will be preformed by the DuBois Area Honor Guard following the service. Interment will be in Maple Groves Cemetery, Reynoldsville, PA.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.

Memorial contributions may be sent to James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center care of volunteer services 2907 Pleasant Valley Boulevard Altoona, PA 16602.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Snyder funeral home, Inc, Reynoldsville, PA.
