CORSICA, Pa. (EYT) – A Corsica man armed with a fork was arrested for aggravated assault and other related offenses late Tuesday evening.

Clarion-based State Police said the incident happened around 11:20 p.m. at a location along Olean Road in Union Township, Jefferson County.

Police said Tpr. Graf and Tpr. Jones were advised that a 47-year-old Corsica man accused in a previous incident was at a residence along Olean Road.

He was eventually taken into custody and arrested on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

The suspect’s name has not been released.

The case remains under investigation.
