Jefferson County Recipe of the Day: Chicken & Stuffing Casserole

Try this delicious dish that the whole family will love!

Chicken & Stuffing Casserole

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 slices of swiss cheese
8 ounces dry chicken-flavored stuffing mix
1 – 10.75 ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 – 10.75 ounce can condensed cream of celery soup
2 cups water

Directions

~Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

~Layer the chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Place a slice of cheese on each piece and then sprinkle stuffing mix over the chicken layer.

~In a large bowl mix together the soups and water. Stir well. Pour this mixture over the stuffing mix, making sure it gets to the bottom of the baking dish.

~Bake for 35 to 45 minutes (or until chicken is done).
