NEW YORK (D9Sports) – Moniteau’s Kennedy DeMatteis was recently named a second-team MaxPreps Small School All-American.

DeMatteis, the 2017 D9Sports.com Softball MVP and the 2017 co-D9Sports.com District 9 Softball Pitcher of the Year, DeMatteis finished the season 21-1 with a 0.30 ERA. In 94 innings of work, she struck out 167 while walking 29. She also hit .508 with 12 doubles, a triple, a home run, 39 RBIs, eight stolen bases and 35 runs scored.
She will attend Gannon in the fall.
