Leonard Leroy Weaver passed away at UPMC Altoona Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the age of 75.
Leonard was in the company of his loving family at the time of his passing.
He was born in 1943 in Meadville, PA.
Leonard is survived by his brother, John Weaver of Bradford, PA and his sister, Jane Swartz of Valier, PA. In addition, he is survived by his five children, Vicky Lynn Smith of DuBois, PA, Patty Cathline Shaffer of DuBois, PA, Randy Lee Weaver of Rossiter, Michael Anthony Weaver of Punxsutawney, PA, and Laura Lee Weaver of Indiana, PA.
He is further survived by his fiancée Christy Wolfe of Punxsutawney, PA as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Glenn Weaver Titusville, PA and Thelma Bair Weaver of Rossiter, PA. He was also predeceased by his brother Donald Weaver of Punxy and sisters, Olive Burritt and Vera Reeseman.
He was a was a military cook with the U.S Army. He also worked as a laborer with many odd jobs and he held a degree in architechrical drafting and design from Triangle Tech.
In his spare time, he loved bowling, and billiards, and was proud of his perfect 300 game score.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that any memorial gifts be made to the Fait Funeral Home on his behalf.
A public viewing and visitation will be held at the Richard Fait Funeral home on Sunday, October 21, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, PA.
