She enjoyed many things and some highlights of her favorite things were traveling by bus with her family and friends sightseeing as she was able, fall leaf-looking every year, and Mountain Laurel looking when they were in season.

She loved to shop before and after her physical limitations made it difficult.

Her physical condition did not stop her from enjoying life and continuing to love the things that she did which included her pets, word searches, and visiting with family and friends.

She loved little children, watching television, and she had a tremendous sweet tooth.

Her family is grateful for the time she shared with them. In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by 1 daughter; Laura (Merritt II) Slye; 1 sister; Lucy (Ray) Ross; and many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 1 brother; Richard James Smeltzer Jr.
