Margaret Ann “Peg” McCauley

Margaret Ann “Peg” McCauley, 79, of Home, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Erwin and Sarah Means Thompson, she was born Jan. 3, 1939, in Pittsburgh.

Mrs. McCauley was a graduate of Penn Hills High School.

After 15 years of working in retail sales, she retired from Kmart. She enjoyed traveling, shooting her gun, doing crossword puzzles, working jigsaw puzzles, gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by “her buddy,” Bill Frech, of Home; three children: Colleen McCauley, of Trout-ville; Denece Dinger and husband Steve, of Summerville; Shawn McCauley and wife Kelly, of Bluffton, S.C.; a sister, Sally Kohler, of Verona; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Thompson.

Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle Inc. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
