Mary Jane C. Chesnoka, 88 of Rossiter passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Mary Jane was born March 1, 1929 in Walston, a daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Tripizone) Farbo.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Edward M. Chesnoka. Mary Jane was Catholic by faith. She was a loving and kind woman who adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Edward, she is survived by her daughters; Rita Chesnoka and companion, Arthur Sherry of Punxsutawney, Mary Kathleen Chesnoka of DuBois, step daughters; Kimmy Knox of Covode, Lisa Chesnoka of Kentucky and eight grandchildren; Danielle Spiers, Shane Elliott, Amber Elliott, Eddie Chesnoka, Shaylnn Chesnoka, Michael Gamboa, Nathan Gamboa, Joni Gamboa; numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Bruno, John, Jim, and Archie Farbo, sisters; Eileen Farbo, Rachel Miller, and Josephine Seliga, and one infant daughter; Mary Ann Chesnoka.
Friends will be received from 10 am until 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where a Blessing Service will be held at 1 pm with Deacon Andrew Boyd officiating.
Interment is private for family.
