Mayport Man Crashes Into Disabled Vehicle

PORTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a driver struck a disabled vehicle along State Route 66 in Porter Township on Sunday.

According to police, around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 13, 20-year-old Corey A. Little of Mayport was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, traveling north on State Route 66 just north of Smith Road in Porter Township.

Police say Little did not see a 2007 Buick Lucerne disabled in the northbound lane from an earlier crash as he approached, and though he swerved left in an attempted to avoid the vehicle, his vehicle struck it, causing it to rotate clockwise and come to rest again facing north.

Little and his passenger, 23-year-old Samantha L. Wurster of Marble, were both wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

The Buick was unoccupied at the time of the crash.

The above report was released to EYT Media Group on January 16, 2019.
