Groundhog Picnic and Phil Fest

Come celebrate with us. The Annual Groundhog Picnic is a great piece of Groundhog Club and Punxsutawney history. Phil’s Elixir of Life Ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. Yard games will be set up if you wish to participate. There will be big screen TV’s set up in the building to watch football games. The cornhole tournament will tentatively begin at 1 p.m. and is free to enter. After the Elixir Ceremony the finals for the tournament will begin!Tickets will include: live music by Remedy X, corn hole tournament, yard games, food, and snacks. Clarion River Clean-Up Day

When: Saturday, September 9, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Cook Forest State Park, River Road, Cooksburg, Pa.
Details:
Please join us at Cook Riverside Cabins, ½ mile up-river from the Route 36 Cooksburg Bridge, to help clean up various sections of the National Wild & Scenic Clarion River. After a busy summer season, there is lots of work that needs to be done. The Pale Whale Canoe Fleet will provide free canoes and transport to various sections along the river from Halton to Cooksburg. Please pack a lunch and bring plenty of water. If Saturday is rained out, then we’ll go Sunday instead. Participants must pre-register at Cook Riverside Cabins by calling (814) 744-8300.

Wine Tasting Workshop at Deer Creek Winery
