Infant Michael Snell was born still on Sunday evening, July 8, 2018, at Orem Community Hospital, Orem, Utah.
He is the sixth child and fourth son of Steven and Melanique Snell of Orem, Utah.
Michael was delivered via cesarean at 31 weeks of gestation, weighing three pounds and 13 ounces and measuring 16 and one-half inches. He was extremely active in the womb, moving and kicking often. His birth was highly anticipated as he was loved dearly by his siblings, Abraham, 8, Peter, 6, John, 5, Evelyn, 3, and Elizabeth, 1.
In addition to his parents and siblings, he is survived in death by his grandparents, Steven and Melanie (Sherwood) Olson of Broomfield, Colorado, and Joseph and Margaret (Hindman) Snell of Brookville, Pennsylvania, and great-grandparents Ivan Olson of Murray, Utah, and Shirley (Fowles) Sherwood of Stark City, Missouri. He is also survived by 16 aunts and uncles, including his father’s four sisters, his mother’s five siblings, and their spouses, and 26 cousins.
Michael’s family will hold a private service to honor his memory and his ashes will reside in his parents’ home.
