Norma Jean (Myers) Bowser, age 81, of Chamberlin Rd., in Brookville, PA, passed away on November 2, 2017, with her caring son by her side, in the comfort of her home.
She was born on April 30, 1936, to the late Leland Gilmore and Elizabeth Marie (Dinger) Myers, in New Kensington, PA.
On August 19, 1980, she married John Gilpin Bowser in Sarver, PA; John preceded her in passing. Norma Jean graduated from New Kensington High School with the class of 1955 and during most of her working life she held positions in Apartment Management and working within the Retail Business.
Norma Jean is survived by her son Scott E. George of Brookville, PA; her sister Donna L. Myers of Lower Burrell, PA; her brother Charles R. Myers of Gibsonia, PA; two grandchildren, Emily M. George of Brookville, PA; Jacob T. George of Brookville, PA; and one great-grandchild, Jaxton B. Taylor of Brookville, PA.
In keeping with her wishes, all the services remained private with final interment taking place at Union Cemetery, in Arnold, PA.
