Peggy Lou Clark

Peggy Lou Clark, 66, of Fairmount City, peacefully passed away early Saturday morning, July 22, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital after an extended illness.

Peggy was born July 20, 1951 in Clarion and was the daughter of James H. and Margaret M. (Keller) Pence.

In Peggy’s healthier days she enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking, and baking. She brought smiles to many by using her talent in these areas.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret M. Pence of Fairmount City, a daughter, Michelle Clark and her husband Daniel Swanger of New Kensington, and two brothers, Ernie Pence and his wife Bonnie of Distant and Gordon Pence and his wife Tanza of Fairmount City. She was also a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Pence.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

The funeral service will be on Monday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Swogger officiating.

Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, Limestone Township, Clarion County.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to any S & T Bank to help with final expenses.
