Son of: Mike and Amy Highfield

Sports Played: Football, Basketball, Baseball

Post-High School Plans: Caden plans to attend college and is considering majoring in Sports Management, Business or Exercise Science. He would love to play baseball or football in college and is working hard in hopes that will happen.

Q&A With Caden Highfield

EYT: What is your favorite sport to participate in?
CH: Baseball and Football

EYT: What is your favorite memory, moment, game from playing high school sports?
CH: The best game to be played all year every year is when we play Franklin. It is always a rivalry.

EYT: Why do you play high school sports?
CH: A huge reason to play sports is to be with friends. My favorite memories are with them and working for the win.

EYT: Is there a high school player on your team or another team that you enjoy watching play? If so, why?
CH: I enjoy watching the team and working hard together.

EYT: When not playing sports I would rather (pick one) – Go to work, play video games, shop, hang out with friends, play pickup sports, go the movies
CH: When not playing sports I like to hang out with friends and lift.

EYT: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
CH: Somewhere tropical just to relax.

EYT: Who has had the most influence on you as a person?
CH: My grandparents

EYT: What do you like most about growing up in your hometown?
CH: It’s a smaller town so you get to know more and more people.

EYT: What do you wish you could change about growing up in your hometown?
CH: I just wish there were more things to do in this town with friends.

EYT: Do you or have you had any siblings or other immediate relatives who have played high school sports?
CH: I am the oldest of my siblings and both of my parents played high school sports.
