Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of Drug Paraphernalia in Brookville

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A traffic stop in Brookville led to criminal charges for one woman after drug paraphernalia was discovered in her vehicle.

According to police, around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15, a known 28-year-old female and her passenger were stopped by Officer Turnbull of the Brookville Brough Police Department on Mabon Street for an expired inspection, which led to a search of the vehicle.

Police say multiple pill grinders, straws with white residue, and part of a pill were recovered from the vehicle.

The female was released from the scene with charges to be filed.

The woman’s name was not released.
