Punxsy Man Charged with Retail Theft

handcuffsPUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a retail theft occurred at Walmart on State Route 119, in Punxsutawney, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 9:27 a.m. on March 3, PSP Punxsutawney responded to a reported retail theft at Walmart.

A known, 33-year-old Punxsutawney man unlawfully removed a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller from the store without paying for the item. The item was recovered at the accused’s house and returned to Walmart, police say.

Charges were filed in District Court 54-3-01.

The name of the accused was not released.
