Punxsy Comes in tied at No. 4 in Feb. 12 Allegheny Grille of Foxburg/D9Sports.com Boys’ Hoops Power Ratings


SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (D9Sports) – The Punxsutawney boys’ basketball team has won four in a row including victories over Clarion-Limestone, St. Marys, Hollidaysburg and DuBois and has moved from out of the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Power Ratings into a tie for No. 4 in the Feb. 12 Boys’ Ratings, the final ratings of the 2017-18 season.

The Chucks (9-10 through Sunday) are tied with Clarion (15-6 through Sunday) for the fourth spot, while Ridgway (20-0 through Sunday) completed a wire-to-wire run as the top team coming in at No. 1 for the sixth straight week.

Coudersport (18-2 through Sunday) is in at No. 2 followed by Elk County Catholic (18-3) at No. 3.

Cameron County (15-4) drops from the ratings after an 0-2 week after being No. 8 a week ago.
