PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – A Punxsy man is facing numerous charges, including incest and the rape of a child, after an investigation by Punxsutawney Borough Police.
According to online court documents, the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against Glenndale P. Beer, 40, of Punxsutawney.
Police say the incident occurred sometime between June 1, 2016 and November 12, 2016, at a residence on Marion Avenue in Punxsutawney.
Beer was arraigned at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, in District Magistrate Douglas Chambers’ office on the following charges:
- Incest of Minor – Complainant Under 13 Years, Felony 2 (three counts)
- Rape of Child, Felony 1 (three counts)
- Rape of Child – Serious Bodily Injury, Felony 1 (three counts)
- Statutory Sexual Assault: 11 Years Older, Felony 1 (three counts)
- Involuntary Deviate Sexual Assault Forcible Compulsion, Felony 1 (three counts)
- Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse W/Child, Felony 1 (three counts)
- Involuntary Deivate Sexual Intercourse – Serious Bodily Injury, Felony 1 (three counts)
- Sexual Assault, Felony 2 (three counts)
- Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age, Felony 3 (three counts)
- Aggravated Indecent Assault – Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old, Felony 2 (three counts)
- Aggravated Indecent Assault of Child, Felony 1 (three counts)
Unable to post $125,000.00 monetary bail, Beer was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 30 with Judge Chambers presiding.
