Sally Ann (Fuller) August, age 69, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
She was born on May 7, 1949 in DuBois, PA.
Daughter of the late Ralph “Bud” Fuller, Jr. and surviving mother, Annabelle (Foltz) Fuller.
Sally graduated from DuBois Area High School.
Most of her adult career had been spent as a home maker, working for Nationwide Insurance, and in the pharmacy business.
Sally retired five years ago from McCabe Drug store in Reynoldsville, PA.
Sally enjoyed annual beach vacations to Virginia Beach, large family dinners and get-togethers, and loved spending time with her close friends and family.
Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Surviving is: Annabelle Fuller, Mother, her husband of 50 years, Ralph “Tucker” August, whom she married in 1968, sons Mark August, wife Pam August, Rick August, wife Jodi August, a daughter Tammy (August) Wagner, husband Robert Wagner, a sister Nancy (Fuller) Allenbaugh, husband William Allenbaugh II.
Sally was preceded in death by an infant sister, Diana Lynn Fuller, and grandson, Justin August.
Grandchildren include: Kayla August, Christa August, Samantha August, Derek August and Amanda August. Sally will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. To honor Sally’s wishes, a time for visitation will be this Thursday, January 10, 2018, from 10 – 11am, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E Main St, Reynoldsville, PA, 15851. A Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held immediately following the visitation for close friends and family beginning at 11:00am, and officiated by Pastor Ben Austin. A funeral luncheon will follow the service and be held at the Reynoldsville American Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to Hahne Cancer Treatment Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA.
