CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH – A Facebook post reunited one woman with her wedding dress, lost in a Dry Cleaning mix-up 32 years ago, while another woman continues to search for her mother’s dress, lost in the same mix-up.
Ame Bartlebaugh, 25, of Cuyahoga Falls, was shocked to find that the box that was supposed to contain the wedding dress used by both her mother and her aunt contained a completely different dress, so she created a Facebook post to look for the owner.
It took less than 24 hours for Facebook users to find the dress’ owner, Michelle Havrilla.
However, in a sad twist of fate, Bartlebaugh’s quest to locate her mother’s dress is ongoing, as the box orginally given to Havrilla contained a third dress that didn’t belong to either family.
