SEMINOLE CO., FL – Early this week, crews repairing a hole that opened up in a Florida road made a surprising discovery: a historic brick road and a terracotta drainage structure.
The Florida Department of Transportation, which started managing the roadway in the 1950s, said the brick road and drainage structure don’t show up on any of its local records or maps.
