VIRGINIA – A group of researchers were startled when a large great white shark snatched a smaller blacktip shark that researchers were planning to tag.
“We weren’t expecting that one,” researcher Kaitlyn O’Brien, who snapped the photo, told The Virginian-Pilot. “It made a real mess of our lines.”
