VIDÖSTERN LAKE, Sweden – An 8-year-old girl in Sweden found a sword estimated to be 1,000 to 1,500 years old while swimming in a lake.

The sword, which is now on display at the Jönköpings Läns Museum in Jönköping, Sweden, is believed to have come from the pre-Viking era.
