MORAGA, California – A town in California gathered to celebrate the “birthday” of a sinkhole that formed in the area almost a year ago.
Residents of Moraga ate cake near an orange barrier in front a chain-link fence, lined with balloons, streamers and a sign that bore the message “Happy 1st Birthday” surrounding the year-old sinkhole.
