BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Lindberg Furniture has stood the test of time while thriving in an ever-changing retail shopping climate.
With locations in Brookville and Johnsonburg, Lindberg has served customers in the region for more than 35 years.
Bob Lindberg (pictured above) started in business nearly 50 years ago when he operated an automobile sales company in Johnsonburg beginning in 1970.
It wasn’t long after he married the love of his life, Bonnie, in 1971, and they partnered in forming a furniture store that began in a two-stall garage in their hometown in Elk County.
Twenty-one years ago, they opened their Brookville store. Today, Lindberg Furniture’s two locations feature furniture and bedding across 50,000 square feet.
“We want everyone to know, we are here to stay,” Bob said. “We want our customers to know we are going to be there for them.”
The small, family business also includes their son Randy, who operates the Johnsonburg location. He’s been there for more than two decades.
Bob and Randy also share a common love – restoring classic cars.
Bob just finished a 1969 Chevy Camaro and he still maintains a garage of 15 to 20 classics.
Bob puts that same drive and determination into his two stores.
