State Police Ask for Public’s Help with Jefferson County Theft Investigation

YOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a recent theft in Young Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the incident occurred on September 8 between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. after a known 52-year-old Virginia man left his wallet in a shopping cart at Walmart.

The wallet was returned to the store; however, the victim’s drivers license and debit card were removed.
