State Police Calls: DUI, Vehicle Damage


JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Punxsy Man Accused of DUI

Police say a 40-year-old Punxsutawney man was driving under the influence after a traffic stop August 20 on Walston Road in Young Township.

Charges are pending in district court.

Vehicle Damage in North Mahoning Township

Police say 67-year-old Albert G. Faith, of Penn Run, was driving a 2016 Dodge Caravan south on Route 119 in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, on September 4 when a piece of metal came off a trailer from an unknown vehicle.

The metal hit the radiator, causing disabling damage to the Caravan.

It was towed from the scene.

No injuries were reported.

The unknown vehicle was described as white, possibly a Ford sport utility vehicle hauling a red trailer.
