State Police Calls: Vehicle Takes Out Power Line, Driver Flees Scene

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area State Police responded to the following calls:

Canoe Township Crash

According to police, around 6:33 a.m. on Monday, June 11, an unknown vehicle hit an overhead power line along Central Street just west of 1st Street in Canoe Township, Indiana County.

The vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The accident resulted in damage to a nearby private property.

Winslow Township Crash

According to police, around 6:46 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 26-year-old Monica J. Isenberg, of Punxsutawney, was operating a 2015 Nissan Sentra, traveling north on State Route 310 south of Bollinger Road.

Police say the vehicle struck a deer on the roadway.

Isenberg and her passenger – 28-year-old Dustin R. Brown, of Huntingdon – were both wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

Kelly Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge removed the vehicle from the crash scene.
