State Police Calls: Brookville Man Accused of Threatening Woman

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area state police responded to the following incidents:

Terroristic Threats in Knox Township

Punxstuwaney-based Stat Police said around 5:54 p.m. on February 8, Douglas Ferguson, 53, of Brookville, made a threat of violence against a known Brookville woman during a verbal altercation.

The incident occurred at a location along Knox Dale Road in Knox Township, Jefferson County.

Theft by Deception in Summerville Borough

According to a release issued by Punxsutawney-based State Police on February 20, the incident happened on December 20 around 9:56 a.m.

Trooper Mosier said that a known 49-year-old Summerville woman reported that she believed she was obtaining a loan but was instead scammed out of a $225.00 prepaid debit card.

The case remains under investigation.
