State Police Calls: Missing Teen Found; Driver Falls Asleep at Wheel, Crashes on I-80

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – State police responded to the following calls:

Police Find Missing Teen in Punxsy

Between the hours of 11:45 a.m. on January 1 and 6:30 a.m. on January 2, Punxsutawney-based State Police investigated the report of a missing person.

The victim – a 16-year-old Delancey, Pa. female – was located on January 2 in Punxsutawney Borough, Pa., by the Punxsutawney Borough Police.

Man Falls Asleep at Wheel, Crashes into Ditch Line

DuBois-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash that occurred around 2:26 p.m. on December 30 on Interstate 80 West at mile marker 108.8, in Pine Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by 71-year-old Theodore W. Threadgill, of Wichita, Kansas, was traveling west on I-80 and fell asleep at the wheel, veered off the roadway, and struck a ditch line.

He was determined to be at fault and cited accordingly.

Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the scene.

Clearfield County EMS personnel transported Threadgill to Penn Highlands DuBois.

Police say Threadgill was not injured.

He was using a seatbelt.
