Summerville Community Labor Day Celebration Set for September 5

SummervilleSUMMERVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Summerville Community Labor Day Celebration will be held on Monday, September 5, at Fireman’s Park in Summerville.

The celebration will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on September 5.

Co-sponsored by Summerville Volunteer Fire Department and Summerville Public Library, the family-fun event will include a parade, live music, arts and crafts, and a car show.

Community Labor Day Celebration Schedule

  • 9:00 a.m. –  Parade Registration at Church of Christ Parking Lot
  • 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. – Car Cruise-In
  • 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Peddler’s Corner – Crafts, Flea Market, and Produce for Sale
  • 10:30 a.m. – Parade
  • 11:00 a.m. – The Corner Spot – Games
  • 11:00 a.m. to ? – Chicken BBQ
  • 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Sweet Corner
  • 11:00 a.m. – Corn Hole Tournament Registration
  • 1:00 p.m. to ? – Corn Hole Tournament
  • 1:00 p.m. to ? – Face Painting
  • 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – DJ Fair Warning
  • 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Bingo
  • 3:30 p.m. – Car Show Winners Announced
