Trails End Restaurant to Host Benefit Dinner for Summerville Man Seriously Injured in Florida

COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Trails End Restaurant is hosting a chicken and biscuit benefit dinner on Thursday, October 26, for a Summerville man who was seriously injured while working on power lines in Florida following Hurricane Irma.

The fundraising dinner for 53-year-old Tracy Slaughenhaupt and his family will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Donations will be accepted at the door.

Tracy was seriously injured last month when he came in contact with a live power line while in Englewood, Florida, helping to restore electric to the hurricane victims. He has burns over 36 percent of his body, including his arms, chest, back, and shoulders and was taken to a burn unit in Bradenton, Florida.

There will also be a Chinese Auction.
