Tuesday’s Girls’ Basketball: Ridgway Inches Past DCC


RIDGWAY, Pa. (D9Sports) – Behind 13 points, 22 rebounds, eight blocked shots, five steals and three assists from Emily Fullem, Ridgway picked up a 36-34 win over visiting DuBois Central Catholic in AML action.

Casey Woodford added eight points and six rebounds for the Lady Elkers with Carley LaBenne adding six points.

Shay Gulvas paced DCC with 10 points with Jordan Kosko adding eight points and Alyssa Bittner seven.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 47, CURWENSVILLE 30

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Taylor Newton had 16 points and 13 rebounds to lift visiting Elk County Catholic to a 47-30 AML win over Curwensville.

Josie Smith chipped in eight points for the Lady Crusaders.

Madi Weber led Curwensville with 16 points.
KEYSTONE 66, CLARION-LIMESTONE 17

KNOX, Pa. – Taylor Geer collected 26 points to lift Keystone to a 66-17 win over visiting Clarion-Limestone.

McKenzie Hovis added 14 points for the Lady Panthers.

Morgan Clark and Anna Kennemuth each scored four points to lead C-L.
