STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – U.S. Route 322 (Main Street) in Strattanville has reopened after being shut down for several hours following a one-vehicle crash.

According to Clarion-based State Police, the roadway reopened around 2:00 p.m.
The call came in at 6:22 a.m. for a report of a one-vehicle accident on Main Street between Pine Street and Walnut Street, according to Clarion County 911.
Authorities say a known male driver lost control of his pickup truck and crashed into a utility pole, causing the pole and several electrical wires to fall onto U.S. Route 322.

The driver was transported from the scene by Clarion Hospital EMS for treatment of unknown injuries.
Strattanville Volunteer Fire Company, Clarion Hospital EMS, Clarion-based State Police, and West Penn Power were also dispatched to the scene.
According to West Penn Power, 459 customers were without electricity due to the accident. Electrical service for those customers has been restored.
