Wanted Ohio Man Taken into Custody in Sandy Township

SANDY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police arrested an Ohio man wanted on felony charges on Tuesday.

According to police, around 1:06 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, a traffic stop was initiated on a commercial motor vehicle for a violation of Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.

During a subsequent vehicle safety inspection, it was determined that the driver, 34-year-old Daniel Still of North Canton, Ohio, was wanted on an active bench warrant for felony assault, possession of drugs, and receiving stolen property from the state of Ohio.

Still was then taken into custody. He is awaiting extradition to Ohio.
