…FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM EST THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE TUESDAY NIGHT…
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has expanded the
* Flood Watch to include portions of western Maryland, Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia.
* From 10 PM EST this evening through late Tuesday night.
* Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible through Tuesday night.
* With saturated ground, rivers, and streams full, additional rainfall may lead to flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
